Be An Informed Toll Free User

We think toll free subscribers and users should be as well informed about toll free service as possible. So, here are a few commonly asked questions about toll free phone service:

How are 1-800 numbers assigned? Toll free phone numbers (area codes 800, 888, 877, and 866) are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis from phone companies and toll free service providers like Tollfreenumber.ORG.

How does toll free phone service work? Once you are assigned a toll free area code number, the caller to your number doesn’t pay for the call, you do. Fees depend on the servie provider you use. At Tollfreenumber.ORG there is a low per-minute fee.

What is a vanity number? Vanity numbers are 1-800 numbers in the form of a word or phrase. These numbers are translated in letters which correspond to the standard phone keypad. These are effective marketing tools and good custom numbers available at Tollfreenumber.ORG areeasily memorized by consumers.

Is a toll free phone number too expensive for a small business? No. In fact, toll free service can be less expensive than other standard phone fees. Small business owners using a toll free number can actually see substantial savings. Plus, there are no new installations needed. The toll free service works through the existing phone lines.

Hi,

I appreciate your constant update on the telecom trends.

I represent PBX Plus (http://www.pbxplus.com) which is based on the award winning (Best of Show for SMB at IT Expo, LA 2009) platform – InVox (http://www.invox.com).

We would like to see you signup and review PBX Plus. I would be happy to add a FREE US or UK number with unlimited minutes to your account.

Your number would greet your callers with “Thanks for calling… Please say the name of the person or department you are trying to reach.” Caller can just say your name “…“and call will be forwarded to your mobile, landline or Skype account. It works with my Skype, offers free speech recognition, voicemail and voicemail transcription, eFAX (Fax In), Fax Out, Outbound FAX, Fax on Demand, unlimited extensions and sub-extensions etc.

The drag and drop designer (visio-like) can be used to configure PBX in just 15 mins. Wizard configures the PBX based on the answers to each question about your business.

In fact, show attendees at IT Expo walked out “This is the best I have seen till day for telephony era!”

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.

John Smith
