This is the spring break week, Easter holiday, and Passover all combined. Travelers throughout the United States will be filling airports and hotels and they will using thousands of toll free phone numbers to make their plans. Hotels, airlines, trains, inns, restaurants, theme parks, shows etc. all use toll free service to accommodate customers. Can you imagine planning a trip and NOT calling at least one 1-800 number? Of course not. And that is because toll free is a standard of the travel industry. Competition is rampant and travel plans typically involve long distance calls. Travel and hospitality businesses must offer toll free to edge out their competitors.
